IF you visited Alexa.com ranking you may have noticed that there is a subdomain called bp.blogspot.com which has a very high ranking, But if you input that URL in your browser you get nothing but a google error page, confusing isn't it ?

2.bp.blogspot.com for example or it`s alternatives are internal subdomains that leads to Google's internal servers , This is where google stores it`s images and your photos (if you have a Google account of course ! ).
So if you visited your Google photos that Google auto creates for all its users you will notice that all images hosted in your account are hosted on bp.blogspot.com
Also if you Created a Blogger.com blog, any image you upload to this blog gets a canonical url that leads to a subdomain like one of the above mentioned subdomains.
the image link itself is composed of many random letters ending with the image extension like .jpg or .png for example :-
